PetMetric: Dog & Cat Weight does not collect any data. No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. The app makes no network requests at all.

Your pets, their weights, and their photos are stored only on your iPhone.
No food database and no lookups — you enter the calories from your own bag of food, so nothing is ever sent anywhere.
We cannot see your data, because it never leaves your device.
Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.

Purchases are processed by Apple. We never receive your payment details.

PetMetric: Dog & Cat Weight is free to use. A one-time, non-consumable Full Unlock purchase ($4.99) unlocks the premium features. It is not a subscription and never expires. Restore it on a new device with Restore Purchase in Settings.

FAQ

Does it work offline? Yes — entirely. The app has no network code at all.

I paid but the features are locked. Tap Restore Purchase in Settings while signed in to the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

Is this veterinary advice? No. PetMetric is a tracking tool. Any pet weight-loss plan should be supervised by your veterinarian — this is especially important for cats, where losing weight too quickly is dangerous.

Why do I have to type in the calories? Because we do not license a food database. Reading kcal/cup off your own bag is more accurate anyway — it is the exact food your pet eats.
